Flag Day

On Saturday, 7:00 pm, June 14, the Allentown Band will provide music for the Allentown Flag Day Association’s Annual Flag Day Program at the West Park Band Shell, 16th & Linden Streets in Allentown. Many patriotic selections will be performed on this program including the Battle Hymn of the Republic and God Bless America sung by soprano Evelyn Stewart. This year’s guest speaker is the Honorable Judge Anna-Kristie M. Marks. The winners of the annual Middle School Essay Contest will also be introduced. The rain site for this event is Christ Lutheran Evangelical Church, 1245 Hamilton Street, Allentown. Free will donations to the Allentown Flag Day Association are gratefully accepted.
Due to the rainy weather forecast, The Allentown Flag Day Association has made the decision to move the Allentown Flag Day Program indoors to CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1245 Hamilton Street, Allentown.
